Sheaundra O’Neil, LPC
Sheaundra’s counseling style is warm, compassionate, empathetic, authentic, and engaging. She is a firm believer in establishing a good rapport with people and building a strong therapeutic alliance. She believes in and practices unconditional acceptance and encourages people to express themselves freely. Her theoretical approach is integrated and tailored to meet each client’s needs. It combines a mixture of cognitive behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, Christian, trauma focused CBT, mindfulness, and gestalt therapies (just to name a few treatment modalities).
Past clients have struggled with trauma, depression, PTSD, anxiety, social phobia, relational issues, vocational stress, family/marital conflict, anger/irritability, low self-worth, suicidality, and ADHD. She is currently working with a number of military veterans suffering from PTSD amongst other things. She has worked with several members of the LGBTQ+ community regarding relationship issues, depression, and anxiety.
