Jim Mulheran, LPC
Jim has many years experience working in the child welfare system, with primary focus being on familial sexual abuse and familial sex trafficking. His private practice experience is primarily with couples, focusing on infidelity, sex, and/or communication. He has had many clients, individuals and couples, that identify as LGBTQ+. This work is very important to him, and he have been working with this community since the beginning of his career.
Jim believes that the client is the expert in their own life, and his role is to guide them toward clarity and action. He uses a client-centered approach, allowing them to lead the way and focus on what’s most important to them. Jim doesn’t shy away from tough conversations, and will be straightforward about things. Client’s time is valuable, and he aims to make every session count by being practical, whether in individual or couples counseling.
