Office Location:

I have a relaxed and laid back approach to therapy that is eclectic and integrative. I try to always remember to accept people where they are at. Knowing that whatever prompts someone to seek out a therapist is never easy and building rapport with that person is key for them to feel safe, they are not alone, and that we can work together to get them to a place where they can feel free to talk about anything without fear of judgment.

I’ve worked with phase of life problems and difficulty with adjustment, anxiety and depression in clients who are resistant to trying new things or medications, trauma that cannot be processed due to ongoing life problems that interfere with trauma being a continued focus. I have been working as an ally with the LGBTQ+ community for years in my private practice, and also often worked with law enforcement and first responders.

I have heard from multiple clients that they have felt connected with me because I seem to genuinely care about them as individuals, what goes on in their lives, and that I truly listen to them. They appreciate that I am not trying to follow a manual or a specific path for them and let them take things at their own pace.
