David Elliott, LCSW
David’s style focuses on Person-Centered and building a strong rapport with the client before exploring issues and problems they are experiencing. He utilizes humor, shared interests, and authentic presentation when providing therapy. He uses various modalities to help the client’s struggles, knowing that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach.
He has helped clients with mistrust of others, OCD/PTSD symptoms, identity confusion/life-transition struggles, sudden loss of loved one, acute social anxiety, trauma history, suicidality/non-suicidal self-harm, relationship issues, loss of motivation/energy, and struggle to implement coping skills. He has also worked with clients managing religious trauma, phobias, dissociation, procrastination, shyness, social isolation, and fear of rejection.
