Thomas Clark, MA, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Office Location:

Thomas specializes in treating adults struggling with self-esteem and substance abuse issues. He helps clients communicate more effectively and develop healthy personal boundaries. Thomas chose to become a counselor to continue to serve others after accumulating diverse life experiences in other fields, including military service and a career as a firefighter.

Thomas’s therapy approach is person-centered, placing the client at the heart of the process. He complements this with supportive directive techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy. This unique combination fosters a sense of personal ownership in therapy, making clients feel involved and valued in their healing journey. Thomas firmly believes that a genuine, empathetic therapeutic relationship, built in collaboration with the client, is one of the most important factors in successful counseling.
