Kelly McCoy, LPC
Kelly’s specialties are depression, anxiety and substance use disorders. Her past clients have struggled with post-partum depression, loss of pregnancy/child, trauma, physical health, loss of job, loss of major relationships (divorce/break up), adjusting to life changes (marriage, relocation). She is trained in CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
CBT is the basis of her work, with interventions from other schools of thought periodically sprinkled in. She is person-centered and enjoys empowering individuals to take ownership for their own mental wellbeing. She works side-by-side with clients to find creative solutions to their struggles and overcome obstacles together.
