Jamiya Reese, LPC
My approach is warm, humorous, and non-judgmental, which fosters a safe space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I provide honest feedback while maintaining respect for each individual’s unique experiences and needs. Treatment is tailored to the individual, ensuring that every session is genuine, empowering, and aligned with the client’s goals.
Past clients have struggled with mental health disorders, emotional dysregulation, little access to resources, and the knowledge or ability to utilize effective coping skills. I have experience serving individuals experiencing housing insecurity, domestic violence, or human trafficking/exploitation, and the LGBTQ+ community.
What sets me apart from other therapists is my sense of style, authenticity, humor, and ability to make someone feel safe, while still providing honest feedback. My clients speak of our genuine connection and revelations they experienced because of the therapeutic relationship, the fun or laughter often shared, and the diverse skillset we develop together.
