Carlynne Fikes, LPC
Carlynne’s therapy style is empathetic, client-centered, and strengths-based, focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences. She blends evidence-based approaches like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs and goals. Through collaboration, she helps clients develop practical coping strategies, rebuild resilience, and move toward healing and personal growth.
Her past clients have struggled with trauma, abuse, neglect, depression, and loss. Carlynne’s helped veterans and first responders with compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and secondary trauma. She has also worked with parents and children of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a safe clinician who understands how to work with marginalized groups, self-esteem, bullying, identity, and self-expression. The clinical environment that she creates with clients allows for safe processing of trauma, cognitive distortions and identification of healthy coping strategies for stress and anxiety.
